American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Walk

Over the weekend, I got the opportunity to attend a national fundraising awareness campaign hosted at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My classmates and I were there not only to join the walk but also to aid in the activities and stands provided. We helped with the small Stewarts ice cream stand they had, handing out ice cream to everyone who wanted some. The walk itself was a small struggle, not only because it was cold outside but also because it was raining very hard. But

Building Fellowship with BOCES Students + Financial Foundations

Today was quite the eventful day! After class, I hung out with the BOCES Students (Students who are enrolling in a Specialized High School Pathway to help them earn college credits). While they were a very loud group of kids, it was a semi-relaxing break from schoolwork as we all ate pizza and played Pictionary. Later that day, I attended a panel discussion hosted by a dear friend of mine, Fallon Greenway, where she discussed the core financial foundations everyone should kno

Trip to Yale

Today, my classmates and I had the opportunity to visit Yale University and experience what it’s like for students there! While the weather wasn't the best, I got to take a tour of the campus and have lunch with official Yale Students. All of whom were in different majors and had vastly different experiences, the admission coordinators also joined us during the forum to explain the transfer process and answer any questions the students could not.

Finishing Up Semester One

My first semester of college is definitely one that I will never forget. I met a ton of new people and got to experience so many new things, like going blonde for the first time! Attending a Community College rather than a Four-Year school is, for lack of better words, isolating. Many of the studen

Reverse Rett Family Fun Day

On September 20th, 2025, I participated in the Reverse Rett Family Fun Day! It’s an annual, family-friendly festival held in Troy, NY, aimed at raising critical funds and awareness for Rett Syndrome, a severe neurological disorder. During the festival, there were live bands, food trucks, raffles, kid-friendly activities, and even a motorcade. All proceeds were used to support the Rett Syndrome Research Trust in its efforts to find a cure. When I was there, they had me handing

How To Kill A Guy In Ten Ways

Now that my first semester of college is officially over, I’ve been able to start reading way more again! Currently I’m reading “How To Kill A Guy In Ten Ways” by Eve Kellman, which is about a girl named Millie Masters who set up a hotline to pick up girls who don’t feel safe enough to work at home. But after her sister gets assaulted, Millie decides to take the law into her own hands. I can’t say much about the book yet since I’m only on chapter 3, but I would definitely rec
