Honors College - Speakers Series : Communication Etiquette 101

On October 8th, 2025, I attended an interactive workshop hosted by HVCC alumni Ehdoh Kyi and Salah Harris, both from S&S Capital Consulting. The two had demonstrated and given examples of numerous ways to better understand and apply communication etiquette, focusing mainly on networking and making connections with people. At first, I went into this workshop not expecting much or taking anything away, but I ended up learning a ton of ways to properly network and keep the connection going! Such as emailing or texting the person immediately after the interaction to make sure they don’t forget you and that you’re serious.
